| I had 2 of them. The 1st one I put about 40k before I sold it - I even shipped it to Poland & back in the mid 90's. I bought it for $400 and sold it for $900, running and w. a dent. Got me through college and a few years afterwords. The 2nd one I bought for ~$1100 and sold just last fall for 1200 or 1300 after putting 30k miles on it. The 2nd one (the 1989) had 99850 on a odo that rolled over @ 100k. Believe what you want but the fact of the matter remains that I got nearly well in 70k miles around the metro DC area out of 2 communist block shit boxes that cost me less then 3k total - all in - to own for years. Considering that they cost $4k new, a 25% resale value after 20 years ain't bad either - most Z32s have a hard time pulling that. ...and at least on 3 occasions did I get chatted up by hottie Serbian chicks @ gas stations around town when they couldn't believe I had one still.
